Our professional staff is culturally and ethnically diverse and carry Professional Liability Insurance for their in-water work training or supervising divers.

Our facility is located in the ideal geographical spot for dive operations - on the southwest side of New Providence Island. From the docks, many of the best dive sites are only a 5 to 10 minute boat ride away. The Dive South Ocean facility also has enough buildings to allow the operation to keep all of the equipment and personnel right on property. This makes overall management easier, allowing us to spend less time on logistics and more time on service.

In the summer of 1995 Dive South Ocean received a makeover. It became the home to the feature film "Flipper" staring Elijah Wood and Paul Hogan. Through the magic of Hollywood, our quaint dive operation was transformed into a Bahamian fishing village complete with general store and restaurant.

Opened in November of 1995, Fin Photo is the newest crown jewel of the Caribbean underwater photo centers. Located on site, the photo and video center works exclusively with its host, Stuart Cove's. It took over 2 years to design and build this facility. Included in the planning and design phases where some of the top underwater photographers such as Stephen Frink, Rick Frehsee, Frank Fennel, Bill Gleason, Marty Snyderman, Tom Campbell and Steve Simonson.

Digital capture can easily be handled from various media on our dedktop PC's. Our digital printing stations can handle prints up to mini poster size and are available for divers who want to take home a print of their favorite images.

The upstairs portion of Fin Photo has been set up as a classroom / work area. You will also find storage lockers for your equipment along with battery charging stations for your equipment.

Televisions are available for you to set up and review the day's footage. If you want to take the next step, a complete mini-dv editing suite is also available. For the pro - we even have duplication services which can make up to 8 DVD copies of your mini-dv tape at one time.

Our video department also has a Sony digital video camera available for your professional shooting needs. This camera comes housed and includes it's own camera person to shoot your professional footage.
